Heart failure or progressive heart failure was long considered as an incurable disease with little hope of recovery.Dominant mutation in heart transcription factors cause inherited congenital heart defects in human, but the basis of cardiac transcription factors haploinsufficiency is not known, sometimes leading to chronic disease such as heart failure.Recent remarkable study and clinical trials suggest that exogenous transfected cell-based therapies will accelerate the recovery of cardiac function.
