Developing pediatric drug products with poorly water soluble drugs is a challenging task.Enabling oral delivery technologies are required to improve both the rate and extent of absorption of these poorly soluble drugs.This presentation will review the fundamental principles and key attributes of commonly used enabling formulation approacheswith respect to practical applications suitable for pediatric patients.In particular, it is intended to provide a balanced review of both benefits and limitations among these enabling technologies.
