The farmlands in the Sanriku region in Japan were damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake.The topsoil was removed because a lot of debris was accumulated after Tsunami, and soil with low nutrient was added.We tested the effects of application of non-composted spent shiitake (Lentinula edodes) substrates (SSSs) as an organic soil conditioner to reestablish agricultural production.
