This retrospective study assesses the outcomes of instrumented posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF) for degenerative lumbar scoliosis (DLS) and analyzes which is the most important factor related to the improvement of Oswestry isability Index (ODI).This study reviewed 36 patients who receive instrumented PLIF for DLS.Plain radiographs, CT scans, MRI, and myelography were taken for all patients preoperatively.At last ow-up, the average ODI score was significantly lower than the preoperative core (24.2 vs 53.4; P < 0.01).
