This study explores the shifting trends of emerging technologies for academic libraries in the digital age.Based on a classical client/server IT architecture, this study focuses on emerging technologies which could impact information resources and services in the networked academic learning environment.In ever-changing academic library settings, however, it is always a challenge for academic library administers, IT specialists, and librarians worldwide how to meet dynamic demands from faculty and students while providing the high quality information resources and services at an affordable operating budget.Also discussed are potential challenges and opportunities for academic library administrators, IT specialists, librarians, and other professionals for the future years of the 21st century.

文章对国内985高校图书馆在微信平台的信息素养教育进行调研和分析,并对华东师范大学图书馆的实践做深入探讨,为此,提出了一些可行的策略和建议,并希望基于微信平台的高校信息素养教育更贴近学生.
