Background: Cancer cells exhibit their ability to metabolise glucose to lactate, even under aerobic conditions,to obtain energy supply.This phenomenon is known as Warburg effect and could be a potential target to kill cancer cells.Evidence has shown the interplay between microRNAs and key metabolic enzyme effecters, which could facilitate Warburg effect in cancer cells.
