The three-dimensional elastic-plastic finite element method (FEM) was used to analyze the interfacial stress in the laminated composite (SiC/6061A1) under the condition of a 200℃-30℃-200℃-30℃ cycling temperature load, deferent compress load (40 to 120 MPa) and the change of the initial temperatures (0 ℃,30 ℃ or 60 ℃ respectively). The results from the FEM analysis showed that the hysteretic peak value of the von Mises equivalent stress and the significant Bauschinger effect occurred in the substrate of the laminated composite. And the stress was increased remarkably as the initial temperature not great than 30 ℃.The results also showed that the stress distributed at the points near the two ends in SiC layer near the interface was increased as the load increased. The results were in accordance with the ones from the experiments.
