Aim:N-[2-(cyclohexyloxy)-4-nitrophenyl] methanesulfonamide (NS398),is a highly selective-2 inhibitor.It is not only used in the anti-inflammation,but more and more studies are dedicated to the research on its anticancer effects.Its mechanism in anticancer effects involves many signal pathways.One is induction of apoptosis of different tumor cells.Its inhibitory effects on the metastasis in vitro and in vivo were mainly mediated by regulating the MMP family components.NS98 can inhibit the invasiveness of prostrate cancers by and reducinge the release of MMP-2 and MMP-9 and increase of TIMP-2,but not TIMP-1 [4].
