The process of drilling mud filtrate invading a reservoir leads to the measured resistivity deviating from the true-formation resistivity.The deviated magnitudes are different for the spherically focused log, medium-and deep-induction log.A numerical model is suggested to calculate the time-dependent apparent resistivity of combining SFL and dual-induction log.The behaviors of time-dependent logging data from the this combination tool are calculated for an oil-bearing reservoir and a water zone respectively at various time stages, then addresses the principle of determining the boundary between an oil zone and a water bed.
