Stiffened shells are widely used in aerospace structures such as launch vehicles and aircraft wings.This paper presents a novel framework to design grid stiffened cell by topology optimization for maximizing the pre-buckling load of thin-wall cylinder.In the two-scale modelling,shell stiffness is calculated from grid stiffened cell by asymptotic homogenization method.Considering cast constraint and maximum feature size constraint,we use inverse homogenization method to get the optimal configuration of stiffened cell.
