  Microsporidia are obligate intracellular parasitic unicellular fungi, which can infect a wide range of hosts that span almost all of the invertebrate and vertebrates.We sequenced the genome of Nosema pieris, isolated from Pieris rapae collected Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China.
