  Neonicotinoids which target at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors(nAChRs)almost have no cross-resistance to conventional insecticides.However,resistance development and bee safety call for the discovering of new varieties of high-activity and multi-sites of action insectcides solving these problems.As part of our developed novel insecticides,Guadipyr which was designed and synthesized from two active moieties in different typical insecticides,i.e.Neonicotinoid and semicarbazones is a novel insecticide with high efficiency to aphis,rice planthopper and leaf hopper which has low toxicity to honeybees and earthworm.In searching for new insecticidal lead compound,a series of novel 1-alkoxy-1-benzyl-3-nitroguanidine compounds with different substituent were designed and synthesized from bis(2-methylisothiouronium)sulphate.
