There is increasing evidence that leptin may be directly involved in mammalian reproduction.In our previous study,the obesity gene was found to have different expression levels of mRNA and protein in implantation site and inter-implantation site of porcine endometrium that suggests leptin may have important regulatory role in porcine embryo implantation.
