The trend of family migration of migrants to cities has led academics to pay more and more attention to the two groups of migrant workers and their children. At present, many scholars study migrant workers in the urban new immigrants group while their children Known as the city’s new immigrant children. Based on the definition of related concepts, this study adopts qualitative research method, combined with textual research, in-depth interviews, participation in observation, and applying the theory of identity identification to study the children of urban new immigrants in Shanghai. Since the children of new immigrants in Shanghai Identity identification as the starting point and the immigration experience as the main line, combined with the development and changes of the macroscopical system and the microscopic system of new immigrant children during the historical period from the initial stage of immigration to the present stage of immigration, Construct this dynamic process. The urban new immigrant children no longer only define their own identity according to the traditional hukou system, but their position and identity are also affected by the immigrant experience, and the dynamic change of identities in the immigrant experience is full of structure The interaction between sexuality and constructivism also goes through the process of categorization, identification and comparison with its peers. Changes in educational policies to a certain extent, ease the pressure on the children of new immigrants in urban schools, making new immigrant children’s identity changed their identity. However, barriers to education policy still constrain the identification and construction of urban new immigrant children to their own identities. At the same time, the differences in identity between the two generations of new urban migrants deserve further study.
