In our mind since long, the polarization between haves and have-nots in Japan has been very small. It is more and more difficult for people to improve their situation and turns them into different income communities. However hard they try, they still can not get rid of the heavy load of community difference.Statistics show that the gap between rich and poor has never stopped expanding during the five-year and five-month governing of Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, whose policies somehow lead to all the above. By enriching the rich, the "Structure Reform" also adds some salt to the poor injury. Paying no attention to the government’s responsibilities, this policy only focuses on the market competition.Expansion of domestic demand and development of society is tightly related to people’s living condition. In Japan, the gap has been a serious issue to the society, which requires the government to make some positive improvements, not only developing economy, but also trying their best to provide more social security to the people.
