现存朝鲜刊本《排字礼部韵略》版本甚多,均为明清时期刻本,或原刻或覆刻,归纳之有甲申本、箕城本和仙岩书院本等类型。每一种版本在文字内容上都有自己明显的区别标志,尽管存在版本差异,但都是王文郁《新刊韵略》的改版。通过《排字礼部韵略》的研究,可以校正《新刊韵略》版本文字上的讹误,确定敦煌残卷《排字韵》的韵书性质及时代特点等,不仅在韵书史上而且在跨文化传播的研究上都有着非常重要的意义。
