潘秋平先生等就拙著《当代语言学》中涉及的若干理论问题做了中肯的评论。本文就这些评论所涉及的关键问题,即语素规则组合和不规则组合的问题,做了一些解答。本文认为,要生成合法的语法组合,需要区分语素的不规则组合和规则组合。即使考虑连续现象,比如把难以区分的片段都算成不规则组合,也需要区分规则组合和不规则组合。语法分析中应该包括两种语法单位,不规则单位和规则单位。长期以来,自由的概念一直被作为提取句法单位的重要标准,但汉语中有大量包含黏着语素的语素组都是规则组合,自由的概念并不能充分区分规则组合和不规则组合,因此也不能充分区分规则单位和不规则单位。平行周遍原则的提出是为了不受自由概念的限制,直接通过类推的平行周遍条件区分规则组合和不规则组合。自由和黏着仍然是句法分析的重要概念。考虑到词的通行趋势,可在提取规则单位语符的基础上,区分自由词和黏着词。承认两种语法单位必然承认两个语法层面,由于词法和句法的区分在汉语中并没有严格界限,也不反映规则组合和不规则组合的区别,可考虑通过对准原则让词法研究不规则语素组,句法研究规则语素组。
Mr. Pan Qiu Ping et al made a fair comment on some of the theoretical issues involved in my book “Contemporary Linguistics.” This article gives some answers to the key issues involved in these reviews, that is, the combination of morpheme rules and irregular combinations.
