A smart bathtub system is a new type of accommodation with modern and intelligent facilities of a smart home automation system.It is equipped with a multi-sensor system that will be used to recognize human activities within the bathtub to make it secure and save water in our daily life.This work presents a design and prototype implementation of a new smart bathtub system that uses Wi Fi technology as a network infrastructure connecting its parts.The proposed system consists of two main components;the first part is the web server,which presents the system core that remotely controls,and monitors users any place.This proposed bathtub system also works without a wireless system,such as an automatic bathtub-like person presence activity to recognize and automatically control the water faucet line.This work demonstrates a simple bathtub automation system that allows the user to help control and monitoring the bathtub through wireless communication.The main purpose of the smart bathtub system using sensor networks and embedded systems(SNES)is to control the appliances and to provide a user display to control and monitoring the system.The goal of this paper is to reduce the unnecessary energy consumption(such as electricity and water wasting)of a smart bathtub with the smartphone app or computer by a web application in Wireless Sensor Networks which allows controlling of appliances using an interactive graphical user interface which can be used by the approved user.The system remotely controls and monitoring the real-time objects through the wireless system by smartphone or remote computer.This system microcontroller and an onboard Wi Fi controller which making use of particular distance users can be controlled and managed remotely.In this paper,we proposed a low-cost smart automatic bathtub system based on IoT using an Arduino microcontroller,a Node MCU Wi Fi controller board,and multi-sensors,etc.This proposed system is capable of collecting data from the bathtub simultaneously then sends and receives data from the web server and web server to the Wi Fi module.This system is designed with an interaction design process that goals to enlarge the product usability.In this smart bathtub system,sensors have been installed with a variety of appliances,presence sensor can be used to monitor human occupations,also water level detection sensor to read the water status in the bathtub.Another part is the auto water faucet line that is supposed to flow water in the bathtub.The presence sensors detect a presence in the bathtub that would automatically initiate the automatic process.First,it detects the presence and it checks the human activity in the bathtub while the system is active if the object is present in the bathtub then the automation system will work otherwise not,like water level sensors and water faucet line would not work if a presence is not in the bathtub.Water level sensors send reading data to the micro-controller if the water is empty water faucet will turn on and water flow in the tub.The results demonstrate that the proposed method can detect the conditions of the bathtub presence activity and water level detect effectively with the best-experimented result showed 100% that the water line will open if presence in the bathtub.
