进入八十年代,世界能源危机的恐怖遍及全球。特别是美国,正在备受能源短缺之苦,从溜冰鞋到原子能,一切对付能源危机的办法都搬出来一显身手。许多国家正在研究开发新能源,企图打破世界上能源主要依赖石油的现状。目前正加紧对原子能、煤的液气化、地热、海洋能、太阳能等能源进行研究,其中海洋能源已成为一个重要方面。相信不久的将来,石油必然会从其王冠的宝座上跌落下来,代之以清洁的海洋能及其它能源。
