语言是文化的载体,语义是语言表达中重要的部分,决定着语言使用即交际的成败。本文从语义重合及语义错位两方面对比分析了英汉动物词联想意义的异同,揭示了造成这些异同的社会文化原因和联想意义在词汇学习和交际中的重要性。
Language is the carrier of culture. Semantics is an important part of language expression, which determines the success or failure of language use. This article compares and analyzes the similarities and differences of syncretic association between English and Chinese animal words from semantic coincidence and semantic dislocation, and reveals the social and cultural causes and associative meanings of these similarities and differences in vocabulary learning and communication.
