随着语言服务行业的兴起,社会和企业急需复合型人才。从语言服务公司角度来看,对外语学习者除了要求扎实的语言功底之外,对沟通能力,一定的项目管理能力,计算机辅助翻译工具使用能力,术语管理能力等方面也提出要求。术语管理贯穿整个项目管理流程中,因此术语管理是外语语言学习者需要培养的能力之一。术语数据库的创建、使用、维护是术语管理的主要内容。笔者作为外语学习者,针对术语管理概念及目标,译前术语库创建,译中术语库的使用、更新,译后术语库的维护等术语管理内容进行详尽描述。
With the rise of the language service industry, society and businesses urgently need complex talents. From the perspective of language service companies, in addition to requiring a solid grounding in language skills, foreign language learners also demand communication skills, certain project management skills, ability to use computer-aided translation tools, and terminology management capabilities. Terminology management runs through the entire project management process, so terminology management is one of the capabilities that foreign language learners need to develop. The creation, use and maintenance of the term database are the main contents of terminology management. As a foreign language learner, the author gives a detailed description of terminology management concepts such as terminology management concepts and goals, pre-translation termbases creation, use of terminology databases in translation, and maintenance of updated terminology databases.
