Environmental education is an important component of quality education for students. Efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of environmental education depend on the development of student environmental concepts. To this end, six suggestions are made. I. School environmental education is led by the education sector, with schools as the main body, and environmental protection agencies participating in cooperation with the State Environmental Protection Administration of the People’s Republic of China, the State Education Commission, and the Central Propaganda Department jointly promulgated the “National Action Plan for Environmental Publicity and Education” (199).
