胡佩衡(一八九二—一九六二),号冷庵,字佩衡,谱名锡锉,又名衡,以字行世,蒙古族。自幼喜画,用功颇勤,十五岁左右已有老师、同学向其求画条幅,后受教于西陵山水画家李静斋,二十岁便能独立进行创作。二十世纪二十年代初出任北京大学画法研究会导师,参编《绘学杂志》;曾与周肇祥、陈师曾等人在北京创办中国画学研究会,后主编《湖社月刊》;曾任职北平师范大学、华北大学等校。新中国成立之后,历任中国
