本文基于历史制度分析方法对晋商东掌制度进行研究,认为晋商通过东掌制度中的关联博弈有效解决了委托代理问题。东掌制度得以在晋商中有效使用和广泛推广,主要原因有两个:一是东伙合作制和顶身股制度的创新;二是成功实现了交易域和社会组织域的关联博弈。东掌制度自我实施的关键之处在于合理利用了明清时期传统中国的集体主义乡村社区规范。
Based on the historical institutional analysis method, this paper studies the Jinzhang East Palm system, and believes that Shanxi Merchants effectively solved the principal-agent problem through the linked game in the East Palm system. The East Palm system can be effectively used and widely promoted among Shanxi Merchants. There are two main reasons: First, the innovation of the Dongzhu cooperative system and the top stocks system; and second, the successful implementation of the association game between the transaction domain and the social organization domain. The key to the self-implementation of the East Palm system is the rational use of the traditional Chinese collectivist rural community norms of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
