After one and a half day’s discussion and exchange,the 7th international symposium of surgery and interventional therapy for thoracic and cardiovascular diseases,which was held in Tongji University affiliated Tongji hospital from 3rd to 5th September,came to a successful conclusion.Many experts and doctors in the field of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery who came from France,UK,Italy,Turkey,and China got together.The current situation and advance was discussed on this conference.During the conference 32 experts and doctors gave us 38 lectures in their research field respectively:12 reports on theme lecture,21 reports on cardiovascular surgery,5 reports on thoracic surgery.They discussed problems and exchanged experience actively and mutually.
