The National Symposium on Nondestructive Testing of Pile Foundations, jointly organized by the Chinese Geophysical Society and the Chinese Society of Architects, was held in Zhangzhou on September 22, 1988. Representatives attending the conference come from different departments and different industries such as national research, teaching and production, totaling 157. The conference received 72 papers. In addition to the conference report, the academic discussion activities also discussed group discussions on issues of common concern such as the quality of Raki’s testing. With the rise of urban construction in China, a large number of high- and heavy-weight buildings have been constructed, and pile foundation projects have developed rapidly.
