Objective To study the performance of substantia nigra in patients with Parkinson’s disease in 3-D magnetic resonance spectroscopy with high spatial resolution of 3T magnetic field. Regional changes in spectral data between the substantia nigra and the midbrain brains of healthy controls and patients with Parkinson’s disease were evaluated. Methods Nine patients with Parkinson’s disease and their age and sex
