磁粉是录象、录音和数据存储等磁记录介质的信息载体,随着磁粉性能的提高和高能磁粉的开发,磁带的特性也相应地获得了改善。七十年代以来新型磁粉的出现,加速了盒式录音磁带和盒式录象磁带的发展。目前用作磁带的磁粉有四类:氧化铁、钴改性氧化铁、二氧化铬和纯金属磁粉等。盒式录音磁带使用这四类磁粉;数据存储介质采用前三类,录象磁带使用后三类。所谓高能磁粉多指后三类。其中钴改性氧化铁和二氧化
Magnetic powder is an information carrier for magnetic recording media such as video recording, recording and data storage. With the improvement of magnetic powder performance and the development of high-energy magnetic powder, the characteristics of the magnetic tape have been correspondingly improved.
