Objective To explore the safety of simultaneous vaccination of different parts of multiple vaccines in Chinese population and provide scientific basis for its further popularization. Methods From June 2004 to August 2006, applicants from the International Travel Health Care Center of Guangdong Province who were vaccinated in the United States were enrolled in the study. Subjects were recruited by self-administered questionnaires and telephone reports Adverse reactions, and with foreign research results were compared. Results Among the 772 recipients, the rate of adverse reactions was 49.6% within 7 days after inoculation. The local reaction rate was 39.8% and the systemic reaction rate was 20.1%. The results were similar to those of other foreign researches. Logistic regression analysis showed that the reporting rate of adverse reactions in females was significantly higher than that in males. The rate of local reactions in vaccinated with 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine was higher than that in males, while the frequency of vaccination was not included in the regression model at the same time. Conclusions Adverse reactions occurred when different vaccines were inoculated simultaneously at different sites. The incidence of multiple vaccines did not increase with simultaneous vaccination. Simultaneous vaccination of multiple vaccines was safe and feasible in Chinese population.
