泰康空间是由泰康人寿保险公司于2001年创办的非赢利性机构,也是国内第一家由国有大型金融企业设立的艺术机构。从设立之初就秉承“鼓舞”的理念支持鼓励优秀的中国当代艺术家进行实验和创作活动,2007年开始着重展出年轻艺术家关于新绘画和新摄影的实验性创作计划,以一年10个个展的方式陈列出当代艺术的现状。此次借由泰康空间从798迁入草场地红一号艺术区B2处举行“1942-1976-今的收藏展”的机会,采访泰康空间的策展人唐昕,来说明泰康空间的收藏观与未来的经营理念。
