本文从三个角度分析了《红楼梦》中一些社会指示语言的英译,旨在表明为了保证译文读者对原文的正确理解,可以牺牲某些指示词的文化信息以达到语用等值的目的。
This paper analyzes the English translations of some social instructional languages in A Dream of Red Mansions from three perspectives to show that in order to ensure that the target readers have the correct understanding of the original texts, it is possible to sacrifice the cultural information of certain instructional words to achieve pragmatic equivalence.
