本研究以东华大学全日制硕士专业学位的研一学生为研究对象,采用问卷调查的方式对学生学习动机、学习习惯和途径以及英语在实际工作任务中的重要性等方面进行了调查。统计分析结果显示,专业学位研究生以工具型动机为主的学习动机影响着学生的学习需求,其共同关注的语言应用能力表现为:写作及研究的能力、职业协作能力和日常交际能力。本文基于此研究结果并充分考虑学生在调查中所表现出的以课堂学习为主,以网络浏览和书籍阅读为辅的学习习惯和方法进行研究,提出建立分层次、专业化的英语教学模式,希望能够为探讨适用于专业学位研究生的英语教学提供启示。
In this study, we investigated the motivation, learning habits and approaches of students and the importance of English in practical tasks by using the questionnaires for the first year students of full-time master degree in Donghua University. The results of the statistical analysis show that motivation of motivation of postgraduates majoring in instrumental motivation affects the students’ learning needs. Their common language proficiency is writing and research ability, vocational collaboration ability and daily communicative competence. Based on the results of this study and taking full account of the students’ study habits and methods, which mainly consist of classroom learning and supplemented by web browsing and book reading, the paper proposes to establish a hierarchical and specialized English teaching model, Hoping to provide some inspiration for English teaching for postgraduates with professional degrees.
