三爪卡盘具有自动定心,使用方便等优点,但有不完全封闭等缺点。在加工铸铁等脆性材料的零件时,卡盘内部容易进入切屑,致使装卸零件困难,长期使用,卡盘体、盘丝和卡爪将受到严重磨损。 为了解决这个问题,在生产实践中笔者制成了三爪卡盘防尘塞(以φ250mm的三爪卡盘为例)及与它组合使用的支承架(有A、B两种形式),分别如图1和图2所示。防尘塞是由特殊配制的海绵性橡胶制成,具有很大的强度和弹性。
