Vigeland Sculpture Park Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigland (1869-1943) was the first sculptor to consciously explore public spaces. He did not receive specialized college training, but under the guidance of interest in using his spare time to learn anatomy and sculpture. At the age of 20, the work has been exhibited at the Norwegian National Gallery. From the age of 40, Viglan, who made great artistic achievements, began to explore the process of getting his sculpture out of the studio and personally creating a sculpture park in Oslo for the next 20 years
