前言水文工作是我国国民经济建设所必需的前期工作和基础工作,是做好防汛防台和水资源统一规划、开发、管理和保护等工作必不可少的一项重要的社会基础事业。上海地处长江三角洲前缘、太湖流域尾闾,扼长江入海之咽喉,居远东海上航线之要冲。上游有面积广阔的内陆腹,承泄着长江、太湖来水:下游面向西太平洋经济发展圈,承受着东海潮的淘击。上海是个典型的靠水兴市、对水设防、治水兴利、借水发展的河口海岸城市。上海水文也是在治水兴水进程中发展,并不断壮大。
Preface Hydrological work is the necessary preliminary work and basic work necessary for the construction of national economy in our country. It is an important social foundation that is essential for flood control and prevention and control of water resources and for unified planning, development, management and protection of water resources. Shanghai is located in the front of the Yangtze River Delta, the tail of the Taihu Lake Basin, the throat of the Yangtze River into the sea, the fate of the Far East Sea route. Upstream has a vast area of inland belly, the release of the Yangtze River, Taihu Lake: downstream facing the Western Pacific Economic Development Circle, to withstand the impact of the East China Sea tide. Shanghai is a typical waterfront city, water fortification, water control, development of water through the estuary coastal city. Shanghai hydrology is also in the process of water treatment and development, and continue to grow.
