以海菲兹作为引子,以勃拉姆斯作为尾声,这本书成为不了一部交响曲,如果能成为一支协奏曲也好,读者朋友也许能够看出这六年来我对我喜欢的音乐和音乐家的读书笔记和心的轨迹了。这本书中的谈论,都只是我的一孔之见,带有我强烈的主观色彩,会让真正的音乐家笑话的。但是。这不是一本论述音乐史和音乐家的专著,我相信读者朋友读它不是为了寻找历史的足迹和音乐乐曲的画像。况且,音乐是无法具体描述的.在《关于舒曼》一文中,我就引用了门德尔松的一句话:“一首我喜欢的乐曲是不能用文字来说明的。这不是因为音乐太不具体,而是因为它太具体.”因此,与其说我的这本书是在谈音乐,不如说是在谈音乐在我心中的感受。
