As an important genre of French 19th century, the Impressionist School wrote a brilliant page in the history of world art. The Impressionist School is not only a traditional revolutionary of the school of that era, but also an inheritor of the schools of romanticism and realism. As a pioneer of modern painting, Impressionism School has been in a preclinical position in the development of western art and has had a profound and far-reaching impact on many countries’ paintings. However, the Impressionist School of Influence so far dissolved after eight joint exhibitions from 1874 to 1886, for a number of reasons. I think one of the important reasons lies in the limitations of Impressionism School, this article talk about their own understanding.
