The Triassic FinDons mainly live in the coastal shallow water environment, mostly in the Tethys Ocean area, while rare in North America and only found in two genera. In recent years, the multi-layer preserved Triassic fin dragon materials found in southern China have provided new information for exploring the origins, migration and evolution of the dinosaur, and also posed challenges to the traditional understanding. At present, there are still some contradictions between the stratigraphic sequences and evolutionary pedigrees of the Triassic Finches, and the origin of the Western Tethys originating from the systematic evolutionary study is not completely consistent with our recent discovery in Chaohu, Anhui Province. This is mainly due to the sequence of their stratigraphic outputs and the incomplete preservation of fossils, the future needs of the discovery of fossil materials in our country and other older strata in the world, and a systematic understanding of the pedigree evolution of Triassic fin dragon based on all specimens.
