不少进城务工人员有能力将未成年的子女带在身边加以照顾,因此,随父母及其主要监护人进城生活的学龄儿童也大幅度增加。紫东实验学校是一所九年一贯制实验学校,进城务工子女占有一定的比例,这些进城务工子女流动性很大,他们随着父母迁移城市,他们的感情很丰富,但他们缺乏城市孩子所特有的自信;他们情绪脆弱,性格孤僻、保守,不易合群,适应集体生活的能力弱;他们语文素养参差不齐,学习成绩普遍比较差。怎样才能提高这些进城务工子女的语文素养呢?这已成为在新形势下紫东亟待解决的问题。
