莫言的小说《红高梁》的叙事模式在一定程度上是对当代影响极大的后殖民主义理论“第三世界民族寓言”学说的归位,同时更是对其所设定的围城的突围。小说从主题表达、人物形象塑造等诸多方面揭示了一个民族文化心理的原生状态,表达了莫言对民族性的深度思考,使该部小说成为现代中国的“民族寓言”但同时小说又极力体现了中国小说叙事的传统性,一定程度上形成了对这种民族寓言的叛逆。
