衣米一:你的系列人物油画作品名为《三亚日记》,有什么特别含义?蔡蔚:六年前我就开始了《三亚日记》系列油画的创作,通常日记是用文字来进行的,我想,为什么不试一试用画笔,用色彩来写日记?作为一个画家,这种方式更适合我把每天的所见所闻转化为对生活的感受记录下来。真的,三亚变化太快,整个中国的城市变化都太快,必须要有人去记录,留下我们的记忆,传给后人。
Yi Miyi: Your series of oil painting works called “Sanya diary,” What is the special meaning? Cai Wei: Six years ago I started the “Sanya Diaries” series of oil paintings, usually the diary is carried out in words, I think, why not try a brush, use color to write a diary? As an artist, this approach is more suitable for me to turn what I see and hear into the feelings of life recorded. Really, the changes in Sanya are too fast. The changes in cities in China are all too fast. Someone has to record, leave our memory and pass on to future generations.
