最近,在革命老区大埔县城文化广场矗立起高3.8米,宽2.6米的铜质星标——“3611”大埔星。大埔人杰地灵,山青水秀,哺育了一批在全省、全国乃至世界产生一定影响的杰出的政治家、军事家、文学家、企业家和社会活动家,为人类的文明进步作出了重大贡献。对此,国际小行星中心和国际小行星命名委员会,将中国科学院紫金山天文台行星科学家发现的国际编号为“3611”号小行星命名为
