通过在安徽省定远县、广东省化州县和浙江省衢州市的 5次诱蛾实验 ,证实了利用活雌蛾或合成的性引诱剂做雄蛾的引诱源 ,与采集的松毛虫茧在林地内自然羽化蛾做对比 ,性引诱的诱蛾高峰日期与自然羽化的发蛾盛期完全一致 ,说明了用性引诱做发生期预测的准确性。同时对所谓无虫林和有虫不成灾的松林进行虫情监测 ,在常规调查找无虫的松林内用性引诱监测技术 ,则能准确掌握虫口基数。实验证明 ,在松毛虫的低虫口期用性引诱监测虫情动态是简便易行的有效方法
