This article describes the classification and analysis of speed diagrams for side-torque directional differentials, which are commonly used to analyze shifting side gears of a vehicle transmission. Directional differential differentials consist of a torque-orienting mechanism from the right to the left wheels of the vehicle and the same left- Wheel torque orientation mechanism. It can be seen from the analysis that when the unidirectional torque-directing mechanism component is only studied, the unidirectional torque-directing mechanism is composed of at least four rotating parts to form a simplest mechanism. The agency is divided into seven types of agencies, namely, six clutch type and a brake type. These mechanisms indicate clutch torque for clutch slip speed and energy loss generated by the clutch for torque orientation. As a result, assuming that the gear transmission efficiency, stirring loss, etc. are neglected, the theoretical values of the energy loss of the seven kinds of mechanisms are exactly the same in the ideal state. Finally, the best mechanism is evaluated from the viewpoint of the actual mechanism design.
