修辞问句是一种用疑问的形式引导或强化信息的句式,既有表达命题的功能,又有引导读者、与读者互动的元话语功能。本文把修辞问句确定为标记明显的句式元话语手段,对《庄子·内篇》中的修辞问句进行实证研究。首先描述《庄子·内篇》修辞问句的分布和句法结构特征,然后从元话语的分类及功能的角度,进一步考察这类问句的修辞效果。
Rhetorical questioning is a kind of sentence pattern that guides or reinforces information in the form of doubt, which not only has the function of expressing the proposition but also of the meta-discourse that guides the reader and the reader. This article identifies the rhetorical question as a marked means of meta-discourse of the sentence pattern and makes an empirical study of the rhetorical questions in “Zhuang-t’ai Nei Pian”. First of all, it describes the distribution of rhetorical questions and the syntactic structure of Zhuangzi, and then examines the rhetorical effect of such questions from the perspective of the classification and function of meta-discourse.
