信息控制是贯穿《文心雕龙》的实质性观念。刘勰首重公文强化社会组织机制的调控功能，视公文为行政通信控制系统。公文内容可分为环境、管理、反馈3类。决策与反馈双向信息流，保证社会系统有效调控。象形符号主要为传扬管理信息而发明，“书同文”是文字发展的动力，而准确简约、典雅雄健、文情鲜明、模式规范等因素的综合，则构成公文语符特有的风骨。
Information control is a substantive concept that runs through Wen Xin Diao Long. Liu Xuan’s first official document strengthens the regulatory function of the social organization mechanism, depending on the official document for the administrative communication control system.
