20世纪30年代陇海铁路西延至陕西境内后,改变了陕西的交通运输条件,方便了人员的往来和物资的集散,从而有力地推动了铁路沿线的西安、宝鸡、咸阳、渭南、潼关、同官、绛帐、蔡家坡、耀县等城镇的发展,表现在这些城镇城市人口增加、城市规模扩大、城市工商业获得了一定程度的发展。另一方面,由于陇海铁路的通车导致传统商路改变,使三原、泾阳、虢镇、风翔等一些传统商业城镇衰落。陇海铁路是加速陕西近代化的重要外部推动力。
After the extension of the Longhai Railway from west to Shaanxi in the 1930s, it changed the conditions of transportation in Shaanxi and facilitated the movement of personnel and the distribution of materials, thus effectively promoting the construction of Xi’an, Baoji, Xianyang, Weinan, Tongguan, The development of the towns and cities such as government, Jiangzhang, Caijiapo and Yao County is reflected in the increase of population in these urban areas and the expansion of urban scale, and the development of urban industrial and commercial industries to a certain extent. On the other hand, due to the opening of the Longhai Railway, which led to the change of traditional commercial routes, the decline of some traditional commercial towns such as Mihara, Jingyang, Jiongzhen and Fengxiang declined. Longhai Railway is an important external driving force for accelerating Shaanxi’s modernization.
