在我国高等职业教育中,公共英语是一门重要的基础科目。受传统教学观念、生源结构、办学条件、师资力量等诸多因素影响,目前我国高职院校的公共英语教学“耗时多,收效少”。从高等职业教育的培养目标、学生的英语水平和人才市场的实际需求出发,客观分析当前高职院校公共英语课程的教学现状及存在的主要问题,并就发现的问题,提出分层互动教学模式、突出英语教学的应用性、教学内容应突出职业特色等几项改进对策,以期进一步提高高职公共英语课的教学质量。
In our higher vocational education, public English is an important basic subject. Influenced by many factors such as the traditional teaching concept, the structure of students, the conditions of running a school and the teachers’ ability, the teaching of public English in vocational colleges in China is “time-consuming and inefficient”. Starting from the training goal of higher vocational education, students’ English proficiency and the actual demand of the talent market, this paper objectively analyzes the teaching status quo and existing problems of the public English courses in higher vocational colleges today, and puts forward the layered interactive teaching Mode, highlighting the applicability of English teaching, teaching content should highlight the professional characteristics of several improvements, with a view to further improve the quality of public English teaching in higher vocational education.
