在古代传人日本的众多中国古籍中,现在保存在日本国立历史民俗博物馆的“宋版三史”(南宋黄善夫刊《史记》、《汉书》、《后汉书》)是中日古代文献研究者所周知的重要典籍。这三部宋版何时传人日本已不可考,但从书上有日本室町时代后期僧侣留下的批注可知,在此以前已经在日本流传。十六世纪末,此书转归米泽藩的武将直江兼续,以后收藏于米泽藩藩主上杉家及藩校兴让馆,明治维新以后直到近年被日本政府文化厅收购之前,一直收藏于旧藩主上杉氏家,所以在日本一般被称为米泽藩旧藏黄善夫本三史。黄善夫本三史
