In a linear stratified water body, the turbulent front is generated by dragging a rigid grid, the fluid flow and the movement are analyzed by shading visualization techniques, and the frontal traces are processed through images to obtain the information about the frontal movement characteristics : The relationship between the movement velocity and the growth of time is as follows: the average dimensionless feature time of the frontal collapse is NTC = 2.9; it decreases with the increase of the Froude number Fri of the turbulent flow; the feature scale Hf of the frontal plane is related to the parameter of the grid movement When the turbulence evolved into an internal wave, the relationship between the frontal and internal wave motion was discussed and analyzed.
